Sens win Best vs. Best
The big game in the NHL last night was the Best of the West the Detroit Red Wings against the Best of the East the Ottawa Senators. The game showed
Ottawa score an early goal on the power play just a minute into the game. The in the second period the Senators got another to go up two heading into the third period. Then in the third period the Wings scored a couple to tie the game and it didn’t look good for the sens having blown another 2 goal game. That’s the second time in two games. The sens got a late power play goal from Alfredsson to win the game 3-2, however that win came at a very huge lose. During the game Dany Heatley collided with a Red Wings player then hitting the boards causing a separated shoulder. The Sens winger is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. If you ask me I’d say that I’d have rather seen them lose this game then see them lose Heatley for a extended period of time.
